Trysil

Active vacation or relaxation, Trysil has it all. It's unbelievably beautiful and offers many opportunities for experiences and activities for the whole family.

Trysil is Norway's largest ski resort, and there's something for everyone. You'll find family-friendly and wide slopes, snow parks, challenging off-piste terrain and, of course, plenty of opportunities for cross-country skiing. And snow is guaranteed in Trysil.

The ski area in Trysil is located around Trysilfjeldet, close to the Norwegian-Swedish border. There is skiing on three sides of the mountain and the slopes are very varied. In Trysil the ski areas are connected, but each area has its own unique character.

When you go on a ski vacation in Trysil, you will find that ski-in/ski-out is something we value highly for our families. This means that we make it a priority that you can ski more or less to the front door of the property where the apartments are located. If you live in one of the few properties where you can't ski right to your door, there are ski buses in the area. In other words, a car is not necessary during a ski vacation in Trysil once you have arrived.

It's great to vacation in Trysil - and not just in the winter. In summer it's great to go for walks and enjoy the beautiful nature. Or explore the many mountain biking opportunities in the area. There is something for everyone, from very challenging and technical descents to fun and easy rides for the kids and those who just want to have a good time.

It's hard not to fall in love with nature and the mountains, and with your hiking boots laced up, beautiful experiences await on your doorstep. If you're lucky, you might see moose, deer, grouse and other wildlife along the way - or how about a hike to the popular Brannvakthytta, where you can stop for a cup of coffee and waffles?

All in all, there are plenty of places to eat in Trysil, and if you want to try elk meat or fermented trout (pult cheese), that's also an option.

The fact that Trysil is one of Norway's sustainable destinations completes the picture. So it's only natural that our Nordic clubs have a home in Trysil. They should be comfortable and functional homes, with living spaces that make it possible to spend time together indoors. Trysil is truly one of the brightest stars in the Nordic region.
