Vail Valley is quite easily accessible year-round from the North Eastern United States. Multiple daily flights to Denver International Airport, and then only about a 2 hour drive to the area. During the winter season direct flights to Eagle County Airport can be found which is situated only about 45 minutes from Vail.
Not only is Vail Valley a gateway for all types of winter sports, it has also become a hot spot for incredible summer adventures, which makes it the perfect choice if you are looking for a destination with endless activities and things to do, no matter what the season. There are amazing spas, farmers markets and yoga classes as well as great shopping, dining and après-ski. Whether you love outdoor adventures or you prefer more of a relaxing retreat, Vail Valley has something for every one of our 21-5 families and it offers plenty of locations that would be ideal for our properties.
Winter is not a time for hibernation because there are so many unforgettable activities and experiences on offer. Aside from hitting the world-famous ski slopes, you can take a sleigh ride to dinner, go for a dogsled ride through the trees or try fat biking over the snow, the area’s fastest growing sport. You’ll also find multiple ice-skating rinks and ponds to skate on, outdoor music concerts and festivals and even a winter arts and crafts market in Minturn.
In summer, thrill seekers can fly through the trees on a zip line, go whitewater rafting along Eagle River or race down an alpine coaster. Enjoy scenic gondola rides, off-road tours or fly-fishing in Gore Creek, which runs directly through Vail’s town center. If you like hiking, there are trails that lead to stunning waterfalls, and in the Holy Cross Wilderness, you’ll discover a handful of stunning lakes that are easily accessible.
There are mountain biking and road cycling routes aplenty, and while some are challenging, others are more family-friendly. You'll also find numerous world-class golf courses within close proximity.
Another big draw is Vail Valley’s many wonderful cultural festivals and big annual events including Hot Summer Nights, Vail International Dance Festival, Snow Daze and the Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding Championships that attract an international crowd.
21-5 properties in the Vail Valley area are spacious homes regardless of whether you co-own a Large or a Grande association. We strive to provide fully equipped bathrooms to each bedroom, but sometimes the original house format is different. What you will not be inconvenienced with is "walk-through" bathrooms, where someone has to pass through someone else's room to get to the washroom. Each guest in a bedroom must have independent access to a bathroom. An important feature related to your comfort, especially when you are traveling in a larger group.
