Sale of a share

How do we sell?

Whether you're investing in a holiday home or a permanent residence, it's natural to focus on whether you'll be able to resell it in the future. The same goes for a 21-5 share.

We are happy to tell you that reselling a 21-5 share is not only easy, but has resulted in significant profits for the families who have resold their shares.

You can find a buyer on your own or you can ask us for help.

Almost half of our resales to date have been due to a switch to another 21-5 association. The primary reason for the switch is to move to an association with larger homes or a different destination mix, while some have switched to get smaller homes. Other reasons for selling have been changes in the family or that the time for travelling so much has passed. Some have also sold due to illness or worse, or because after years in 21-5 they would like to have their own holiday home.

The typical ownership period for a holiday home varies between 10 and 20 years, depending on the destination and price range. It is therefore a completely natural turnover in our associations, where we expect an average of 1-2 resales per year in the long term.

We are very happy on behalf of our families that we can confirm that it is possible to sell your share again if you wish to do so at some point. Resale is, and always will be, a very natural part of 21-5.

Pre-loved shares

Many families prefer to buy a share in an already established owner association rather than being part of an owner association from the project stage. As a result, resales usually cost more than a share in a new owner association.

There are two main reasons for this:

  • When you buy a share in an already established owner association, you can see the five actual homes that you can co-own. This is not possible with an emerging owner association as the houses are purchased after the owner association is formed.
  • You can book and go on vacation immediately.
