Anders Heisel

Anders, who is commonly referred to by his last name in everyday conversation to avoid confusion, joined 21-5 in late 2009, approximately a year after the idea was conceived.

Laila and Anders quickly realized after they came up with the idea for 21-5 that they needed additional expertise within the ownership group.

Heisel has a strong financial background and had been working at Danske Bank for nearly a decade. He ventured out on his own in 2007, starting his own IT security company, which he ran with his partner until 2019 when the security firm was sold to TDC.

Heisel's role at 21-5 is primarily on the strategic level, with a focus on finance and IT. He has, for example, designed and built the initial version of our member site and booking system for our associations.

Heisel is a person with diverse interests, and in his free time, you'll typically find him with a guitar in hand, at a piano, on a road bike or mountain bike, or out on the sea in a boat, with or without sails.

Heisel is rooted in the soil and hails from Rødekro in Southern Jutland.
