Katja Naja Reich-Petersen
Katja originally trained as a veterinary nurse, as her childhood dream was to help animals (dogs and cats) achieve better conditions around the world. In this regard, she spent some time working on a street dog and cat project in Bangkok, where she collaborated with monks to catch and vaccinate the animals.
Prior to this, Katja worked as a stewardess on private luxury yachts along the American East Coast, Mexico, and the Caribbean, ensuring that both owners and guests had the best and most optimal conditions while on board. Katja’s greatest drive is to make sure everyone around her feels good, and she is always keen to make everyday life a little cozier in every way possible.
In recent years, Katja has found her niche in administration and has worked in the furniture design and fashion industries, maintaining close relationships with agents and distributors in Europe, Japan, the USA, and Australia.
Katja lives in Snekkersten with her husband and two children, where she loves finding inspiration for renovations and interior design for their classic 1970s villa. This also includes larger projects, where she and her husband enjoy removing walls or adding extensions to ensure their home constantly gains new energy while preserving its soul and aesthetics.
"To travel is to live" is likely one of Katja's mantras – she loves traveling with her family and does so as often as possible with her two school-aged children. The next trip will be to Malaysia over Christmas and New Year, and without a doubt, she’ll bring home new ideas for their next house project.
