Maria Josefa Labra

Maria studied visual arts in college, majored in fashion design, and worked freelance in the fashion industry for about five years. When Maria needed a change, she took a leap from the fashion industry and dove into financial services. Here, she worked as support for one of the largest financial institutions in the USA, which gave her the opportunity to work with various people across a wider spectrum. Taking that leap proved beneficial in the long run, as now, at 21-5, she will primarily work with international leads, and working with people abroad no longer feels unfamiliar.

Maria took her biggest leap yet in 2022, challenging herself to move out of the comfortable and familiar and relocate to Denmark, which has been nothing short of a self-discovery journey and an adventure.

Maria enjoys spending her free time with friends, often at dinner parties where she is almost always the chef, something she somehow always enjoys. Maria has three dogs back home in the Philippines. Whenever she can, she tries to visit her family in Norway, where her three sisters, nephews, and niece live.
