Laila Køj

Laila is the driving force behind 21-5.

Laila is our CEO, but it's not really about the title; it's about her ability to lead 21-5 with passion, energy, empathy and a presence that keeps her on the same level as her employees. Being present requires the courage to look people in the eye and be there for them when it's fun and comfortable, but also when it's hard and painful. Laila is there all the time, with her heart and soul, which makes her an inspiring person and a respected leader.

Together with her husband Anders, Laila conceived the idea for 21-5 in 2008 and together they have been the driving force behind the development of 21-5 into a Gazelle company. In addition to the day-to-day management of 21-5, Laila's main focus is property acquisition, and she has a unique flair for finding just the right properties for our 21-5 groups.

With three children, two of whom are still at home, and a dog, there is never a dull moment, and Laila manages her home with the same spirit and integrity she brings to 21-5. Daily walks in the woods and along the water are a regular part of Laila's (and Anders') life.
