Klaus Arpe

Klaus is an experienced IT expert with a passion for digital innovations and home improvement projects. Since stumbling upon coding at the tender age of just 14, Klaus realized the potential to turn his interest in technology into a career.

Based in the cozy neighborhood of Brønshøj, Klaus has spent over a decade carefully renovating the family home dating back to 1938.

However, Klaus' interests extend beyond just IT and home improvement. In his spare time, you'll often find him pedaling away on his indoor bike setup with Zwift, simulating the feeling of an open road. As summer approaches, he ventures out onto the actual roads for some outdoor cycling adventures. He's also an enthusiastic paddle tennis player. And when winter comes, Klaus trades his cycling gear for skiing equipment and heads to the Alps for some skiing.

With a background in computer science, Klaus has navigated through various aspects of the IT world, including securing data and systems with a focus on IT security. Klaus has previously led IT initiatives at an international health insurance company, overseeing operations across multiple countries within and outside Europe. This experience is now being utilized at 21-5 to strengthen and secure IT systems, making them even better.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Klaus finds solace in the company of his family, including his wife May-Britt, who is also part of the 21-5 team, and their two adult children, who may have flown the nest but still show up for Klaus's homemade culinary celebrations. Whether he's tinkering with technology, renovating his home, or indulging in his favorite hobbies, Klaus exudes a blend of digital prowess and practical craftsmanship.
